Silotech Group is currently seeking a Project Manager to oversee all aspects of the City of Houston's current and future IT initiatives related to cyber security infrastructure. This role will be critical to protecting Cybersecurity infrastructure for the entire city and various departments. Location Houston, TX (On-Site) Clearance Requirements Public Trust Essential Roles and Responsibilities * Manage scope, cost, schedule, internal staffing, vendors, and all contractual deliverables in a timely manner and on budget.
* Assists in the design, implementation, and management of City of Houston projects; performs the day to day tasks to manage the overall direction of projects in support of the City of Houston Chief Information Security Officer.
* Develop security authorization documentation with City departments for assigned systems.
* Implement gap analysis and knowledge transfer for department's self-sufficient operation in assessing, monitoring, and management of environment.
* Develops detailed plans, monitors project milestones and generates periodic status reports
* Evaluates and manages risk while incorporating quality measures and standards to project deliverables.
* Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge.
* Work autonomously while providing leadership and guidance to the work group through knowledge and experienced mentoring.
Qualifications Education * Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Business OR equivalent work experience of 5 or more years if no degree.
Experience * 10 years of related experience leading teams in complex IT/Cyber environments.
Certifications * PMP * CISSP
