Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Certified Nursing Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator in our Progressive Care Department at Baptist South in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-Time evenings opportunity. Shift Details: 3:00pm- 11:00pm Monday-Friday weekends as needed.

The Certified Nursing Assistant / Health Unit Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse (RN) with the care of patients who have healthcare needs including:

* Maintaining a safe environment

* Intake and output monitoring;

* Electronic medical record documentation.

* Performing clerical and secretarial activities of the nursing units

* Answering call lights and telephones promptly

* Ordering inventory of unit supplies and equipment

* Maintaining patient chart folders

* Greeting and assisting all customers while adhering to service excellence principles

* Maintaining a neat and orderly nursing station

* Payroll functions

* Supporting Nurse Managers

* Activities of Daily Living
