Summary

Council for Airport Opportunity (CAO) is a non-profit organization that supports the airport community with its talent acquisition needs. CAO has a proven track record for sourcing and staffing the right talent for top companies at JFK, Newark, and LaGuardia Airports. The Airport CDL Driver will work onsite at JFK Airport.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensures the safe loading and unloading of passengers, including the safe operation and handling of specialized equipment for unloading passengers with special needs (i.e. wheelchair lifts and tie-downs)
• Meets patrons needing assistance to and from various airport locations and lots
• Inspects vehicles on a regular basis to find any unsafe conditions or maintenance issues; performs routine cleaning and bus maintenance activities
• Performs pre-inspection and post-inspection activities to ensure proper operating conditions, adherence to prescribed Department of Transportation standards, and compliance with proper safety standards

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class B or A License with Passenger Endorsement
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• 1 year of similar work experience and customer service experience (Preferred)
• Must be reliable and available to work varied hours, weekends, and holidays
