We're currently seeking a Full-Time Restorative Nurse Aide (RNA) to join our team in a beautiful Skilled Nursing Facility located in Meadowbrook, Pa . In this role you will play a crucial part in assisting patients with rehabilitation and maintaining their functional abilities.

A Restorative Nurse Aide works under the direction of licensed nursing staff to provide specialized care aimed at maintaining or improving patients' physical and mental well-being. The primary goal is to assist patients in restoring or maintaining their optimal level of functioning.

What You’ll Do:

• Patient Assessment: Conduct initial assessments of patients' physical and mental capabilities to determine the level of assistance required.
• Develop and Implement Care Plans: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans focused on restoring or maintaining patients' functional abilities.
• Assist with Rehabilitation: Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to patients in performing therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and activities aimed at restoring physical functions.
• Monitor Progress: Regularly evaluate and document patients' progress or setbacks in their restorative care plans.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on exercises, techniques, and strategies to promote independence and functional improvement.
• Collaboration: Work closely with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and effective implementation of restorative programs.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patients' progress, activities, and any changes in their conditions.
• Supportive Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and toileting.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines while providing care. Ensure a clean and safe environment for patients.

About You:

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or equivalent certification as required by the state.
• Experience in restorative or rehabilitative care preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of basic nursing and therapeutic procedures.
• Empathy, patience, and a passion for helping patients regain their independence.
