We're a friendly and supportive crew of office staff and field technicians who work together to deliver exceptional customer service. From the moment we book a call to the completion of a job, we strive to create a top-notch experience for our customers. As a Service Technician, you'll meet with customers, diagnose their garage door or opener issues, present repair options, close the sale, and complete the work. You'll interact with customers daily, so excellent customer service skills are a must. Each day brings something new, so if you're high-energy, positive, and self-motivated, we want to hear from you! Compensation- Performance-based pay plan with great earning potential. First-year potential is $60,000 The second year should be 10-20% higher. Responsibilities •Intentionally follow our proven method of customer engagement to increase job conversions and complete sales •Accurately assess garage door/opener issues to determine appropriate resolutions •Articulately discuss in detail your discoveries with the customer to build customer confidence and company/tech credibility •Conscientiously perform repairs/installs with attention to detail to optimize the customer experience and exceed expectations •Regularly pick up parts as needed or off-load deliveries to maintain stock levels at the warehouse •Enthusiastically participate in regular meetings and trainings to continuously improve your knowledge and skills Qualifications • 1-2 years of garage door experience - Some experience is required • Sales Experience - You are able to handle objections to convert the sale • Excellent Communication Skills - Explain details to customers as well as the team/manager/ office • Rapport Builder - People think you are friendly, outgoing, and easy to talk to. People like to do business with those they feel they can trust • Teachable - Must be teachable, eager, and able to learn and implement new processes • Tech-Friendly - Easily reachable by text/call during and outside business hours. Adaptable to learning new software • Professional - You conduct yourself professionally in appearance, attire, language, and attitude Bonus Qualifications: •Sense of Humor: A sense of humor builds bridges and smooths rough terrain •Desire to Help Others: Outside of collecting a paycheck, you like people and want to help them Must haves: •Must have a clean driving record •Must pass a background check and a drug screening. Regular and random drug screenings will be conducted •Must provide your own tools •Must speak English fluently •Must be able to work alternating Saturdays
