Day Shift

MaineHealth is seeking a board eligible/certified full-time OMM Physician to join our team. Currently, OMM works within the Pain Management clinic in Kennebunk. Working together, we are growing this comprehensive clinic with anesthesiology, PM&R physicians, and LCSW's. OMM has flexible patient populations and generous additional referrals from the Departments of Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Neurology, Sports Medicine, and Orthopedic surgery.

Desired Skills, Qualifications & Experience

* Provides compassionate, patient-centered medical and surgical care and services to patients.

* Education: Must hold a degree in Osteopathic Medicine.

* License/Certifications: Current and valid state medical license required. Board certification in practice specialty. Current BCLS/ACLS certifications that are associated with privileges. Other certifications specific to department policies may be required.

* Knowledge of chart/medical record documentation and terminology requirements and federal/state laws related to release of health care information

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for interacting with patients, other physicians, supervisors and other staff

* Skill in time management, problem solving, multitasking, prioritizing and medical care coordination

* Ability to calculate and administer drug dosages and injections and measure results

* Ability to respond the changing workload based on patient census and to direct, supervise and evaluate care in order to individualize medical care provided to patients

* Ability to maintain professional manner even under stressful situations
