The Applied Electromagnetics Division of Applied Research Associates, Inc., is seeking Printed Circuit Board Technicians for locations in Lafayette, CO and Huntsville, AL facilities. This is an entry level position that offers an excellent opportunity to grow and learn many new skills. Duties include soldering and populating circuit board components (resistors, capacitors, inductors, and integrated circuits), assembling RF, DC, and digital wiring, cables and connectors, and bonding and packaging of multi-layer circuit boards. Position involves small scale repetitive tasks often performed under a microscope and requiring an eye to detail and quality. Candidate will have the opportunity to learn and operate electrical and RF diagnostic test equipment to troubleshoot or evaluate hardware performance as well as manufacturing shop equipment and common hand tools to build or modify various parts. May require a security clearance. High school diploma or GED, six months to one year experience.
Salary Range: $18-25 / hour depending on experience.
