Overview:
Hands-On House Children's Museum is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic educator who can represent the museum in a school setting and teach our outreach programs. While at schools, they will create an innovative environment that will promote hands on learning for children in kindergarten through third grade. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, understands how they learn, and is dedicated to creating a nuturing learning context. The Outreach Educator will be responsible for teaching, set up/clean up, and transportation of programs.

Hands-on House Children’s Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to facilitating fun learning opportunities for children aged 8 and under. At Hands-on House, adults and children play and learn together. Our exhibits, classes, and programs are short on lectures, and long on interactive, participatory activities.
