Job Description: Designs By Sundown is seeking a full-time AutoShop Mechanic to assist with vehicle and equipment maintenance and repair, and assisting the auto shop with other duties as needed. We are looking for a hard-working, energetic, and ambitious individual who is interested in being a part of a company that is determined to make life more enjoyable for their clients and employees.

Compensation: $25-$30/hr

Responsibilities:

• Maintain maintenance equipment, including but not limited to: truck, trailers, mower, aerators, string trimmers, edgers, blowers, and any other piece of equipment on a daily basis for safe and efficient use by maintenance employees
• Grease equipment and sharpen blades
• Complete all repairs in the best way possible
• Test drive all vehicles and equipment before release to verify repairs
• Represent Designs By Sundown in a professional manner and maintain the outstanding reputation we hold within the industry
• Make suggestions to management about equipment needs
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned, organized, and stored at night
• Winterize all equipment and store at the end of the season

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 Years experience
• Must have own tools

Preferred skills:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
