Job Title: Operation Technology Tech / Low Voltage Technology Installer

Pay rate: 24.00 to 26.00 DOE

Job Description:

We are currently seeking a skilled Low Voltage Technology Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in low voltage systems installation, including but not limited to Safety and security cameras, access control systems, structured cabling, audiovisual equipment, and smart home devices. The Low Voltage Technology Installer will be responsible for executing installations according to project specifications, ensuring quality workmanship, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Install and configure low voltage technology systems, including safety cameras, access control panels, charging systems, audiovisual equipment, networking infrastructure, and IoT devices.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and placement of equipment and wiring.

- Mount and secure equipment, run cables, and terminate connections according to industry standards and manufacturer guidelines.

- Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure proper functionality and performance.

- Provide training to end user on the use and maintenance of installed technology systems.

- Collaborate with project manager and other team members to coordinate installation activities and ensure project timelines are met.

- Maintain accurate documentation of installations, including as-built drawings, equipment lists, and test reports.

- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or training in low voltage systems installation preferred.

- Proven experience in installing low voltage technology systems, such as security cameras, access control systems, structured cabling, audiovisual equipment, and smart home devices.

- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for low voltage wiring, cable management, and equipment installation.

- Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused approach.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaborate effectively as part of a team.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

- Depending on project there will be occasional Saturday work and early weekday starts.
