We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Application Engineer with a cloud and defense technology background to join our team. This role will involve providing on-siteco-development, installation, and customization of back-end systems and full-stack applications for our client. The ideal candidate must possess an active Secret Clearance and have a strong technical background in both back-end and full-stack development.
You will:

• Install, configure, and commission back-end systems and full-stack applications at client sites on AWS and/or Azure.
• Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting of systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct benchmarking and performance measurement, propose new features or customize API integration between Blackshark and customer systems.
• Develop customer-specific monitoring and maintenance processes to avoid system failures.
• Provide on-site technical support and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Assist clients with technical queries and provide training on deployed system features.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to address complex technical problems.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent technical interface and delivery against requirements.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide appropriate solutions.
• Be the bridge between the customer's engineering organization and Blackshark's, creating, summarizing and conveying requirements for further development and managing the technical exchange of information

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, ELK stack
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a field engineering role or similar within the defense technology sector.
• Experience with back-end systems and full-stack development.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Security Clearance:
• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Active Top-Secret Clearance is a plus.
