Senior Go Developer Position Available
Requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in technology or information systems or equivalent experience
- 6-8 years of related work experience
- 4 years of experience in Go development
- 3 years of experience in developing distributed applications
- Proficiency in frontend JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue), CSS, and HTML5
- Familiarity with document databases and experience with graph databases is a plus
- Experience using Docker for application containerization
- Knowledge of Kubernetes or similar container orchestrators
- Proficient in developing RESTful web services
- Experience with Powershell
- Knowledge of DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, Ansible
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile Methodologies
- Experience with Genetec products, particularly Omnicast and Synergis, is a bonus
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Go programming and software development methods
- Strong background in developing distributed applications and utilizing JavaScript frameworks, CSS, and HTML5
- Familiarity with DevOps tools and Agile development methodologies
- Analyze, code, configure, debug, test, and implement changes within the Genetec OmniCast product
- Create technical specifications, test plans, deployment instructions, and other necessary documentation
- Supervise defect triage and resolution during testing phases
- Ensure adherence to development standards, source control management, and security coding standards
- Conduct code peer reviews and documentation peer reviews
- Provide support for defect resolution during and after implementation
