**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Pastor to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Senior Pastor in providing spiritual leadership and guidance to our congregation. As an Associate Pastor, you will play a vital role in supporting the pastoral needs of our community, including hospice care, conflict management, event planning, public speaking, writing, bereavement support, leadership, education, and crisis management. **Responsibilities:** - Collaborate with the Senior Pastor to plan and lead worship services, including delivering sermons and leading prayers. - Provide pastoral care and support to congregation members in times of need, such as during illness, bereavement, or crisis situations. - Assist in organizing and executing various church events and programs, ensuring they align with the church's mission and values. - Conduct counseling sessions for individuals or groups seeking spiritual guidance or support. - Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote the church's presence and involvement in local activities. - Support the development of educational programs for all age groups within the congregation. - Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with other church leaders to enhance overall ministry effectiveness. **Qualifications:** - A degree from an accredited theological seminary or equivalent experience in pastoral ministry. - Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey spiritual teachings and provide emotional support. - Demonstrated experience in hospice care, conflict management, event planning, public speaking, writing, bereavement support, leadership, education, and crisis management. - Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also capable of independent decision-making. - Uphold a strong commitment to personal faith and spiritual growth. - Possess excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple responsibilities.
