POSITION SUMMARY The Pharmacist Staff - Retail Pharmacy ensuresmedications are procured, prepared, dispensed, and administered safely andlegally.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES Proficient in pharmacy practiceincluding but not limited to the following areas:a. Retail dispensingb. Home health aids Performs other relatedprescription activities such as taking verbal prescriptions, filling ofprescriptions, dispensing and verbal consultation. Performs and/or supervisespharmaceutical compounding activities. Provides clinical pharmacyservices, including medical history collection, therapeutic drug monitoring,pharmacokinetic dosing consultations, drug information and education. Participates in and followsstandards of departmental quality control and quality assurance programs. Oversees inventory controlactivities such as monitoring inventory levels, ordering, receiving, stockingand shipping. Supervises pharmacy interns andtechnicians. Willingly follows and supports allpolicies and procedures required under Medicare Accreditation. Input and process prescriptions Correct prescriptions Counsel patients Administer vaccines. Perform other related duties as needed.
Shift: FT shifts vary, 8am-6pm or 9am-7pm, every 3rd Saturday 8am-1pm
