Jessie Mahan Center and Pre-k is Hiring a Child Care Teacher (Opening Person) Near Memphis, TN
Our child care facility is looking for a caring, compassionate Child Care Worker who has experience caring for children ages six weeks to five years. We are committed to providing top quality care and education for students who are enrolled in our program. Our goal is to enhance the lives of every child that attends our facility. If you are a patient, caring professional with a background in child care, we hope you will get in touch about this position.
- Assist teachers in creating lesson plans and maintaining a safe classroom environment
- Develop a cleaning routine throughout the day that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe
- Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their learning
- Work with teachers to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergency situations
- High school diploma/GED required
- Somechild care experience preferred
- Must possess valid CPR and First Aid certifications or willing to get certification
- Must be able to get physical before employment
- Must be able to pass background check
- Must complete mandatory training required by the State of Tennessee Department of Human Services
- Caring and compassionate attitude a must
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
