• Testing samples, locating samples, running QC, calibration if needed, putting away stock, reagents, and put Rcv’d dates, manual entry of some results, storing samples, locating samples for Add-On Testing

• Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
• LIS is Novius & will be switching to Cerner later. Coag: Stago Compact, Chemistry: AU 680, DXI, Osmometer, IL Gem 4000, Hematology: DxH800, Urinalysis: Iris

Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)

• Will not work alone. Call is not required.
• Weekends are required.
• Currently have 2nd shift opening, work 230p to 11p. 2nd shift must work every 3rd weekend.

The departments within Core Lab: Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, & Immunology

• Scrubs or business casual. No jeans, no T-shirts

• Must do initial competency for each bench learned during the orientation period. Must do 6 month competency for each bench worked.
• Must do 1 yr competency for each bench worked. This is required for the 1st year of work. After that, must do Annual competencies.
