Residential Habilitation of Idaho, LLC is Hiring a Caregiver (for adults with disabilities) Near Meridian, ID

This is a feel-good position aimed at encouraging adults with disabilities to become as self-directing as possible. Our staff help the participants maintain good standards of hygiene and help stimulate mental alertness through conversation and participation in individualized appropriate activities.

Requirements

  • assist participants in establishing a daily schedule for household duties and activities of daily living
  • instructing participants in learning and re-learning household duties
  • participate in conversation, companionship and other activities
  • assist participants to and from community activities and appointments
  • teach participants money management skills
  • teach participants friendship/relationship skills
  • facilitate safety skills
  • assist participants with behavior management as needed
  • Current CPR certification and first aid training
  • Successful completion of paid training
  • maintain current and accurate clinical records
  • Provide personal care

Salary Description

$14 - $16 / hour

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 12 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Night shift
  • On call
  • Overnight shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
