**The Position:**
We are seeking a highly ambitious, sales-minded individual to join our team as a Sales Manager. This person will be involved in soliciting, negotiating and booking new and existing leisure and corporate business. The ideal candidate will possess a lively personality, strong organizational skills, be detail oriented and be able to work in a fast-paced setting. This person must be able to work in a collaborative, team environment. This is the perfect opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional that is capable of building strong relationships with our customers. The Sales Manager is responsible for:
* Planning and developing an effective sales strategy
* Soliciting and developing new business accounts
* Maintaining accounts once the business is captured and current accounts
* Ensuring all revenue goals are achieved or exceeded
* Handling reservations and group bookings at the hotel
* Management of rate, occupancy and RevPAR
