The Parts Delivery Driver is responsible for driving parts and equipment between store locations, our customers' locations and / or supplier's locations to pick up and return, safely and in accordance to all local, state and federal laws and / or company policies / procedures.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

WHAT YOU'LL DO :

• Pick-up and deliver parts and equipment between store locations, customers' locations and / or suppliers' locations, safely and in accordance to all local, state and federal laws and / or company policies / procedures.
• Load / unload delivery vehicle in a safe manner, securing all items.
• Ensure timely and accurate pick-up / delivery; verify invoice or purchase order matches order being delivered; obtain customer signature of pick-up delivery.
• Properly conduct pre and post trip inspections, reporting any deficiencies to management.
• Collect payment from customer.
• Maintain accurate log of pick-ups / deliveries.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED :

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year of related experience and / or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent organizational, customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to pass Work Steps pre-employment physical.
• Ability to work safely and effectively, following all policies, procedures and / or laws.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondences, and memos.
• Ability to be on-call 24 / 7.
