Ready to jump into a new opportunity? ACCESSbank is hiring for a Quality Control Analyst. Summary: Uses various reports to evaluate system and customer data and then makes updates as necessary to maintain data integrity. Performs other duties related to quality control including evaluation of account applications received online, processing of closed accounts, and may also review new account documentation. Also acts as a back-up for other duties within the Deposit Operations Department. Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to create and maintain reports necessary for maintaining data accuracy on accounts, customers, and the system in general.
Determine the proper frequency of various data reviews and use reports generated at that frequency to make necessary changes or corrections.
May review all new consumer and business accounts and verify all required documentation has been collected and completed in its entirety based on procedure.
May review changes made to ownership of accounts and verify all required documentation has been collected and completed in its entirety based on procedure and that account titling is correct.
May send weekly correction reports to bank employees related to new account documentation. Review corrections and update the report as necessary.
Review and complete online account applications making decisions based on risk reporting whether or not to allow the account to be opened. Ensure auto-approved accounts are properly funded and all associated tasks to complete the opening process are executed. Complete tasks to determine if an account with review status is either approved or declined. Complete all processes related to declined accounts.
Process all returned mail by documenting its return, properly coding customer information and accounts for bad addresses per procedure, and/or updating customer records with corrected address information.
Review address reports for addresses being reported by the post office for correction and attempt to verify with the customer to make the correction.
Review all undelivered email addresses and attempt updating or correcting them through customer outreach. Perform further updates to the customer record if email correction is not completed.
Verify all closed accounts have been properly closed and all related services are properly updated or deactivated.
Assist with various bank-level and department-level projects.
Act as a back-up to job duties performed in Deposit Operations as necessary to ensure all tasks are completed daily.
Assist with writing and updating procedures specific to the role.
Review and approve wires based on authority limits.
Work closely with the Compliance Manager to perform the tasks associated with account documentation requirements.
Proactively watch for and attend training applicable to the position - attendance at management's discretion and approval.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High school degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Minimum of five years or more of experience in banking with preference for three or more years of experience in Bank Operations.
Minimum three years Fiserv experience in Core and ancillary products. Must have extensive knowledge of Fiserv Core system.
In-depth experience and understanding of financial institution products and services, applicable laws and regulations.
Excellent customer service and communication skills (written, verbal, listening).
Detail-oriented and well-organized, ability to handle multiple priorities and produce results, ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Self-motivated/takes initiative.
Proficiency with computers.
Ability to effectively work with colleagues and on multiple projects simultaneously, managing time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently and within established timeframes.
