Position Description You will serve as a Contract Specialist in the Training Systems Procurement Department of NAWCTSD ORLANDO. Position Duties/Responsibilities * You will define initiatives and develop plans that achieve specific procurement objectives that satisfy mission needs.
* You will ensure solicitation is structured consistent with Acquisition Strategy identified.
* You will ensure appropriate policies and procedures are in place to support procurement of services.
* You will evaluate proposals and/or quotes against evaluation criteria to determine competitive range and/or selection for award.
* You will evaluate sole source proposal or quote to establish the Government's negotiation position.
* You will analyze proposed costs and/or prices to determine if fair and reasonable.
* You will negotiate contract price, terms, and conditions for products and/or services and prepare contract award documentation.
* You will ensure procurements comply with law, regulations, and sound business judgment.
* You will ensure all contract files are complete, organized, and electronically filed in a timely manner. Minimum Salary 86962.0 Maximum Salary 113047.0
