WHERE YOU WILL WORK

This is an onsite position, working at our headquarters in Lake Nona - Orlando, FL. Regular schedule: 8am to 5pm.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Our amazing graphic designers are creative and innovative, and help elevate our brands by producing digital designs and layouts for various communications media such as catalogs, packaging, signage, sales literature, websites, etc. Prepares digital files for final prepress production and maintains internal system network operations and archival processes. Collaborates with immediate creative design and marketing team, sales, product development, and other teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Design print and digital layouts and present to client/supervisor for approval.

* Produce basic digital illustrations to support design layouts.

* Ability to problem solve, think creatively, and present concepts for packaging, signage, marketing materials and online content.

* Has a good foundation in color theory.

* Create physical and digital mock-ups for presentations.

* Prepare accurate layout designs for full color packaging production.

* Follow style guidelines in various designs, maintaining consistency throughout layouts.

* Set up digital layout files for final prepress production.

* Communicate with print vendors coordinating final proof production. Provide all necessary notes and instructions.

* Proof and approve final artwork from printers.

* Maintain archival system and procedures. Follow pre-established naming conventions.

* Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment & maintain regular attendance.

* Ability to understand packaging dielines and how artwork is applied.

* Work with the Sales Department to create planograms, ad ideas, magazine ads, etc.

* Discuss the projects on hand and present new ideas or thoughts during daily meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

* 1 year experience minimum.

* Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite. Focusing on InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and After Effects.

* Strong digital design portfolio demonstrating design experience.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

* Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure.

* Must be self-motivated.

* Ability to work independently.

* Must have an excellent sense of color theory and spatial planning.

* Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

* Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

EDUCATION

* 4 yr. degree - Bachelor's degree in graphic design or relevant field.

CORE COMPETENCIES:

* InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects

* Creative problem solving and conceptualization.

* Proficient with Apple computer and software.

* Skill in prepress production preferred.

* Background in packaging and merchandising design preferred.

* Basic copy writing skills preferred.
