Summary

The Supervisor for Painting Downtown supervises the painting crew doing painting and flooring work. This position oversees both flooring and painting subcontractors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Must have a valid and unrestricted (not including corrective lens needs) U.S. Driver’s license and must meet the Tulane University Motor Vehicle Policy criteria to become authorized as a driver.
• Ability to coordinate and schedule labor and materials for multiple Operations and Maintenance projects.
• Must exhibit excellent communications skills.
• Ability and willingness to work nights, weekends, and possibly holidays. Required Education and / or Experience
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3 years of related experience.
• 2 years of supervisory experience. Preferred Qualifications
• 4 years of related experience.
• 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in the understanding all phases of painting, joining, and finishing to industry standard levels. Compensation Information This position is classified as "non-exempt, hourly" and is assigned to pay grade 25.
