Job Duties

• Shift : Days8 houors 40 hours per week MondayFriday

DutiesandResponsibilities

• Assistswith the training and orientation of new staff.
• Builds andreplenishes multiple carts (caddies case carts procedural cardscrash carts and bedside carts) for basic bedside patient care andsurgical procedures with a fill accuracy rate of 100% as verifiedby department audits and / or observation of aLead / Supervisor.
• Conformsto standard procedures and methods used to store and distributesupplies within the applicable Federal State and other regulatoryagencies including IPC Joint Commission AAMI AORN in alignment withSUMC s safety guidelines for self patient visitors andemployees.
• Ensures the prudent use ofresources and efficiently maintains inventory. Inventories andrestocks all Supply Chain managed locations including but notlimited to surgical suites surgical core supply rooms clean utilityrooms and asset inventories with the aid of a mobile handhelddevice.
• Will participate in ongoingtraining and education needed to perform job relatedfunctions.
• Maintains a professionalwork environment; keeps work area clean and organized. Practicesgood time management. Maintains professional behavior andappearance.

• Maintains acceptableattendance and punctuality per departmentpolicy.
• Manages informationutilizing appropriate manual or electronic systems for shift workactivity. Reports any discrepancies or unusual activities to theLead / Supervisor.
• Performs correctbreakout of all products utilizing sound practices that protect theintegrity of the productpackaging.
