Title- Senior Solution Architect

Duration: Full Time

Location- Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid)

Day-to-day responsibilities will involve

• The Senior Solution Architect role is primarily responsible for defining infrastructure solutions in support of the objectives corresponding to clinical, administrative, and information technology enterprise initiatives which are following established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines. As a senior member of the team, the highly motivated candidate will also define and refine solution patterns and best practices, as well as mentor other solution architect members.

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher, preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Experience Qualifications

• Fifteen (15) years of Solution Architecture experience (or equivalent experience in relevant architecture domains); experience in a healthcare IT environment preferable

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Possess breadth and depth of knowledge and experience across the following information technology domains: data center technologies (compute, storage, virtualization, network), and end user devices (workstation, mobile devices)
• Extensive infrastructure experience. Familiarity with prevalent storage technologies and understanding of service oriented architectures
• Expert level experience with public and private cloud services (i.e. VMware, AWS, Google, Azure, etc.)
• Knowledge of clinical applications, e.g. Epic, PACS, Safetrace TX, Ensemble, Nurse Call, Omnicell, Genomics, etc.
• Knowledge of security solutions and security best practices.
• Deep understanding of information technology approaches, applications, tools, and methodologies, as well as a broad background in a variety of technology platforms
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, Outlook, and collaboration tools
• Experience white-boarding solutions and options in customer-facing situations
• Demonstrated success on quickly understanding business requirements and aligning capabilities to solutions
• Proven track record of designing scalable, manageable, and highly available technical solutions
