Assists the Registered Nurse by performing patient care activities delegated to the unlicensed nursing support professional as well as additional specific functions for which he/she has been prepared. Observes and reports the functioning of equipment, the results of treatments, condition of dressings and any change in patient condition. Incorporates the concepts of the Hospital's Guest Relations Program into all aspects of patient care activities (i.e. confidentiality, responsiveness, caring). Accountable to the Nurse Manager or designee for all activities. Adheres to policies and procedures of the department.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)

Other : Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant Program or completion of at least one clinical rotation in an accredited Nursing program (Required)

Experience

1 Year experience in a patient care role (Preferred)

License/Certifications

BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)

CMA - Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)

CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred)

40 Hours Per Week / 11:00 pm to 7:00 am / Every other Monday & Friday / Every other weekend & holiday
