Position Summary:

The Lease Credit Analyst I will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing credit risks, assess credit history and either approves, conditions, or declines an extension of credit to potential lease customers in accordance with Stellantis Financial Services credit risk policies, compliance guidelines and profitability models.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate credit reports and credit data to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit.
• Develop and maintain strong dealer relationships while ensuring volume and credit quality objectives are being met.
• Manage exceptions to published credit authority using judgment and experience to produce risk outcomes within company expectations.
• Complete final disposition on credit applications or forwards to appropriate level of authority for final approval.
• Communicate lease application outcomes to dealer via phone, email or other appropriate means and follows-up with calls to capture lease business.
• Make outbound and handle inbound calls to negotiate final terms of contracts with both our dealer customer and the DRM.
• Maintain confidentiality due to regular access to specified personal information of consumers, including, but not limited to, Social Security numbers and dates of birth.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years’ auto finance or similar experience including support functions in customer service, collections, remarketing, or loan processing.

Education:

• High school diploma and/or GED.

Skills Required:

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
• Intermediate MS Office skill in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications Preferred:

• Experience – Captive, automotive dealership, and/or loan underwriting experience.

• Overtime required – month-end volume increases, and other tasks/assignments may require overtime as needed.
• Travel 0-10% - on an as needed basis.

Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance to one of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Detroit, MI; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ.
