Workplace Type: On-siteRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Posting all payroll related journal entries after payroll is processed and approved
- Balance sheet account and general ledger reconciliations
- Rectify issues with the payroll processing
- Review employment contracts to understand compensation model and apply to monthly reconciliations of revenue, expenses and payroll as needed
- After monthly payroll is recorded, this position will review and assist with additional reporting as necessary
- Review prior periods to ensure payroll accuracy
- Other duties as assigned
- NOTE: This position will not be responsible for processing payroll but will be exclusively working with accounting for payroll and payroll related entries
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting strongly preferred
- 2 years’ experience with accounting and payroll
- Experience working in accounting systems and payroll software
- Strong Excel skills
