We are in search of a Senior Data Engineer to join our team in the healthcare industry, based in Plantation, Florida. In this role, you will be developing and implementing robust data engineering solutions to support our organization's data-driven initiatives. Your expertise in DataBricks, dbt, and Python will be critical in this role.Responsibilities:• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks, dbt, and Python• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders, to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs• Optimize and tune existing data pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance• Lead efforts to streamline and automate data processes, reducing manual intervention and increasing efficiency• Mentor and guide junior members of the data engineering team• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in data engineering and contribute to continuously improving data engineering practices within the organization• Utilize Apache Spark, Database, EO/IR systems, Erwin Data, HDFS, AB Testing, Analytics, AWS Technologies, Business Intelligence (BI), Business Requirement Document, Python, Databricks, and Big Data skills.
