- A graduate of an accredited PTA Program
- Current New York State Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) License
- Follow the plan of care set out by the supervising physical therapist
- Measure & record resident’s motor function, strength, and muscle performance
- Observe and document on resident performance
- Treat residents with varieties of techniques, like stretching and massage, assist residents in carrying out specific exercises
- Maintains Resident confidence by keeping information confidential
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements
