JobDescription

Themain objective of the Sales Representative is to successfullyacquire new commercial members by understanding their businessneeds / goals and providing composting solutions that add value totheir business.

Generally the Composting Program Specialist is thefirst human touch point that an organization has with CompostNow.As such they play an important role in helping prospective membersstart their composting journey.

Asa Sales Representative you ll be a key contributor to the growth ofthe company by ensuring that we get businesses and organizationsset up with impactful and successful composting programs that alignwith their overall business objectives.

What you ll do :

Follow up on leads generated fromCompostNow s website and other inbound lead sources

Participate in lead generationactivities to grow our lead pipeline

Conduct consultation meetings tounderstand the business needs and build a composting programtailored to the business while aligning with their business andsustainabilityobjectives

Answer potential members questionsand send additional information via email andphone

Manage your leads opportunitiescontacts and business information in Salesforce and ensure detailsare accurate and up todate

Understand and communicate ourcomposting program features accurately andeffectively

Research and qualify newleads

Contribute to the overall SalesDepartment goals and objectives

Recommend changes in productsservice and policy by evaluating results and competitivedevelopments

Identify and assist in theimplementation of sales process improvements

Identify and assist in thedevelopment of sales resources that grow ourmembership

Maintain professional and technicalknowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing professionalpublications establishing personal networks and participating inprofessional societies within salesterritory.

Assist in account management bysupporting key accounts

Assist in data quality relatedissues such as CRM customer cleanup / deduping.

Participate in projects that enhancethe sales experience and contributes to the department s goals

Requirements

Based in the Triangle NC or AtlantaGA

A desire todevelop as a salesprofessional.

Experience with CRM systems.Salesforce is a plus.

Comfortable building externalrelationships in sales situations

Detail oriented with a demonstratedability to work independently multitask and react quickly tochanging conditions.

Ability to work in a fastpaced andever changingenvironment.

Committed to communicating regularlyand constructively with teammembers.
