Responsibilities of the Environmental Health and Safety Specialist include:
- Help create, revise, and improve EHS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
- Oversee the EHS data management system on a daily basis
- Ensure safety compliance amongst regulatory guidelines and procedures
- Provide guidance when equipment installation occurs
- Work cross functionally between different departments to identify and remedy safety concerns
- Conduct industrial hygiene assessments though out the facility
- Serve as an active member of the Emergency Response Team
- 3 years' experience in environmental health and safety
- Experience in an industrial production environment
- PSM experience
- Automation/controls experience in an industrial environment or pharmaceutical environment
- B.S. in a Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Chemical Engineering degree or Environmental Engineering background preferred
- Compensation: $75,000-$85,000 2.5% bonus
