About the Role:

Our client, a respected entity in the banking sector, is seeking a Support Analyst specializing in the technical and functional side of Project and Portfolio Management (PPM). This position is integral to the Corporate Project Office, primarily supporting internal PMO processes, including reporting, quality control, and providing specialized support to project managers on tools, processes, and templates. The role demands adaptability to work within specific client instances of PPM tools and requires a focus on collaboration within a small, governance-focused team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle day-to-day support operations within the project and portfolio management domain.

- Support multiple FCB workstreams and project teams, ensuring effective use and understanding of PPM tools.

- Collaborate closely with the Clarity team to provide setup, reporting, support, and training for PPM tools.

- Understand and fulfill reporting needs.

- Aid in the expansion of PPM tool usage to a larger user base, facilitating the transition for up to 3,000 users.

- Maintain quality control over internal PMO processes and ensure compliance with governance procedures.

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum of 5 years within PPM projects, with at least 1 year in a banking or financial institution.

- Experience with PPM tools such as Planview, Clarity and a strong capability to learn and adapt to new tools is critical.

- Previous support desk experience is necessary.

- Strong experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools.

- Ability to work effectively within a team environment where strong collaborative and communication skills are essential.

- Demonstrated ability to ask pertinent questions and rapidly assimilate new information.

- Capability to adjust to different work hours and potentially relocate for initial training.

- Professional demeanor, capable of working alongside various levels of management and staff with varying project management skill sets.
