Bonney is Hiring a HVAC Administrative Assistant Near Rancho Cordova, CA

Job Description

We are searching for a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill our temporary HVAC Administrative Assistant position with the potential to become permanent in Rancho Cordova, CA.

As an HVAC Administrative Assistant, you will be assisting the HVAC department to provide administrative support to our HVAC team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various clerical tasks, answering questions from technicians and other departments, managing purchase orders, and ensuring jobs are closed correctly. Additionally, the HVAC Administrative Assistant will assist with billing, invoicing, and other accounting tasks as needed.

What Will I Do?

  • Review and approve technician time cards and time off requests
  • Process bonuses and commissions for technicians
  • Serve as main point of contact for rebates with eligible customers
  • Reconcile purchase orders and ensure jobs are closed correctly with the Accounting Dept
  • Assist with closing the month – verify all jobs and revenue is accounted for and funded
  • Work with internal vendors regarding purchase order accuracy, replenishment, and issues
  • Ensure any spreadsheets for the department are maintained, tracked and accurate
  • Performs other relevant duties as assigned by the needs of the business

What Do I Need?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 years relevant experience in similar role
  • Familiarity with commissions, bonuses, and/or payroll is a plus
  • Construction or trade industry experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding customer service skills

Pay Range: 22.00 - 26.00 hourly depending on experience
