Brooks Kushman seeks a talented and experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our firm’s growing practice. Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Marketing Coordinator will support overall marketing goals and coordinate daily marketing operations. This includes content creation, social media management, event coordination, and business development support. This position is hybrid with a 1-2 day per week in office expectation.

Key Responsibilities:

Events:

• Maintain and update the master calendar for events and nominations.
• Draft and publish announcements regarding event attendance.
• Develop invitations for firm events (internal and external).
• Coordinate local firm and attorney events.
• Provide company descriptions, bios, and logos for events.
• Manage client engagement events.

Online Presence & External Communications:

• Support marketing needs with the creation and editing of brochures.
• Design advertisements for sponsorships and other initiatives.
• Develop web and digital design assets.
• Draft content for the firm’s website.
• Draft press releases and announcements.
• Develop and distribute external newsletters.
• Manage social media and LinkedIn posts.
• Support social media reporting and strategy.
• Draft and post thought leadership content.
• Create content and raise awareness based on the firm's goals
• Write and distribute press releases.
• Manage content on our distribution platforms
• Organize and maintain attorney bios and headshots.

Internal Communications:

• Assist with the internal communications strategy.
• Develop and distribute internal newsletters.
• Maintain and update intranet posts and site content.
• Assist with the organization of group events, such as firm retreats and holiday parties.

Business Development:

• Input data for the client and business development dashboards.
• Assist with the creation and preparation of presentations.
• Prepare and send holiday baskets.
• Assist with client requests, including sponsorships and event coordination.
• Plan and execute client entertainment events.
• Coordinate and produce podcasts
• Help draft content and submissions for awards and nominations.

Position Requirements and Desired Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience. Professional services, especially law firm experience, a plus
• Superior writing, editing and proofing skills
• Experienced in using and designing on the Adobe suite of products
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Accuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time-management skills and ability to multi-task
• Strong client service focus and ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Self-motivation and ability to work with minimal supervision
