These projects are located on or near dams, spillways, levees, pipelines, pump stations, canals, and groundwater recharge facilities.
  • Software tools such as Microsoft Teams, Excel, MS Project, Word, OneNote, BlueBeam Revu.
  • Leadership in facilitating both small and large meetings; document control/management and organization of meetings, correspondence, and deliverables; and client development and relationship building with your project team.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Build upon their project management, coordination, and communication skills and expand their knowledge in areas servicing geotechnical, geological, and water resources clients.
  • Demonstrate strong project management and coordination abilities, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Support the DOE PM/PMC project process lifecycle, including taking initial project requests through design and construction completion milestones. Responsibilities include developing agendas, coordinating, and documenting routine project team and agency meetings, maintaining project controls and plans, developing schedules and budgets, and completing other project-related tasks.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of progressively responsible experience in water resources planning and management, engineering, and/or construction services, with at least 2 years in a project management or coordinator role.
  • Demonstrated ability to support Federal, State, and local agencies in the western United States.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage complex projects/programs.
  • Eagerness to learn and be self-sufficient in executing a DOE PM/PMC project with support from internal project team members.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, team leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong capability to work remotely and independently while maintaining productivity and motivation.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, MS Project, and other typical project management and coordination software.
  • Willingness to travel to and work at client offices as needed.
