Ledgent is partnering with a small, family company that's been in business 50 years. Their is low turnover, high-tenure of employees (a lot of people have been there 10-15 years).

Direct Hire Role. $26-$28/hour (depending upon experience).

Job Duties:

• Process and manage full-cycle accounts payable including invoice matching, coding, and entering invoices into the accounting system.
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of all vendor invoices.
• Initiate payments via check, ACH, and wire.
• Maintain accurate filing system for retrieval of paid invoices.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Manage vendor relationships and address any payment discrepancies or issues.
• Assist with month-end closing processes and prepare necessary AP reports.
• Conduct regular audits of accounts payable transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper coding and resolve payment-related issues and ensure smooth financial operations.
• Assist with special projects and provide support for financial audits as needed.

Qualifications:

• 2 years of Accounts Payable experience (distribution industry a PLUS!)
• Comfortable working on site, 5x/week
• Proficient in ERP software and Excel
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
