- $180,000 to $220,000 Annual Base Salary

COMPANY PROFILE:
This non-profit practice was originally founded in the 1970s and, over the last five decades, has evolved into a robust, compassionate organization serving the areas most vulnerable residents. They have regularly added services, sites, and team members over the years, currently offering pediatrics, family medicine, and womens healthcare, along with dentistry, optometry, a pharmacy, and more. They boast a team of more than 40 physicians, 6 behavioral health providers, and more than 50 advanced practice providers. They are currently seeking new physicians due to growth.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The new physician will work under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, providing quality healthcare to a diverse community-based patient population.
The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- evaluation and treatment of patients
- care plan management
- preventive health maintenance
- assessment of acute needs
- chronic condition management
- review of laboratory / other test results
- initiating specialist referrals
- participating in care team, provider, and staff meetings
Family medicine physicians see an average of 20 to 24 patients per day.
The practice uses the NexGen EHR and physicians are supported by clinical assistants in all settings.
The new physician will participate in a shared on-call rotation with flex time off. On-call is phone triage only and volume is light.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Texas medical license
- DEA
- Board Eligible or Certified, Family Medicine
