University Health in San Antonio is growing and we have a great opportunity for a Planning, Design and Construction Senior Project Manager! We are looking for a candidate with healthcare construction experience. Come be part of San Antonio's Top Work Places.

Position Summary:

Provides senior-level project management expertise relative to health care facilities projects, project schedules and budgets. Responsible for overall project coordination with contractors, consultants/vendors and hospital/medical staff.

Duties:

Serves as Senior Project Manager on assigned University Health PDC and CIP projects: Coordinates with architectural / engineering specialties/ equipment vendors for their repair, construction and reuse to meet the requirements of various UHS needs.

Conducts constructability reviews. Technically reviews (peer) proposed project documents from a project management perspective, recommending changes as required.

Develops and/ or reviews design layouts, specifications and cost estimates for new construction, alterations, maintenance, and repair on contracts requiring architectural/engineering modifications.

Experience/Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree is required. Master's degree highly preferred.

A minimum of ten (10) years relevant healthcare construction related experience is required.

Architectural & Engineering; A&E Consulting; Engineering & Construction; P/L (Project Leader); Contract Management and Administration; Construction Management experience in the healthcare industry is required.
