Akkodis is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist for an On-site Direct Hire role position with a client located in Santa Maria CA . Ideally looking for Bilingual, Fluent in Spanish candidates.

Salary Range: $85K - $90K/annum (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. )

Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm PST- candidates must adhere to this work schedule

Must be Fluent in Spanish- the site has a large population of bilingual employees

Sr. HR Generalist Job Summary

1. Communicate HR policies, procedures, laws, standards, and regulations to employees and management.

2. Investigate and resolve employee relations issues, document complaints, conduct investigations, and recommend actions.

3. Recruit and screen job applicants for various positions, review applications, and conduct interviews.

4. Handle benefit inquiries, manage new employee orientations, and perform exit interviews with termination paperwork.

5. Represent the company in unemployment claims and manage workers' compensation claims.

6. Maintain HR database accuracy, generate personnel reports, and administer FMLA and other leaves.

7. Organize annual employee reviews, manage related processes, and recommend improvements from exit interview data.

Qualifications :

Education: A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or a related field is required.

Experience: Minimum 5 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist; 7 years of HR experience total/overall

Skills :

• Knowledge of both California and Federal Labor Laws
• Knowledge of HR concepts, best practices, and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal and management skills with the ability to direct, motivate, and give constructive feedback
• Must be highly organized with the ability to track multiple projects
• Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office including, Word and Excel
