Shift Leader

Job Description:

The Shift Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant and managing all staff. The Shift Leader is also responsible for the management of staff, ensuring the restaurant is staffed with high-quality, friendly, and customer-focused individuals. The Shift Leader will ensure the restaurant operates efficiently and that all standards of food, safety, and service are met.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Must be able to lead a team of staff.
• Must be able to manage staff by setting and enforcing daily operations standards.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the restaurant.
• Set and enforce daily operational standards.
• Ensure all food, safety and security practices are followed at all times.
• Ensure all employees are working under the highest standards of care and professionalism.
• Ensure all employees are properly issued uniforms and are meeting their contractual employment rights (e.g. hours of work).
