Job Description:

As a Licensed Loan Officer at Nations Mortgage, you will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans and guiding clients through the entire loan process. Drawing upon your expertise in mortgage lending and your dedication to delivering exceptional customer service, you will build and maintain relationships with borrowers, real estate agents, and other referral partners to drive business growth and ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Actively engage in sales processes to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Assisting with gathering and organizing loan application documentation.
• Assist the sales team with finding potential customers, generating leads, and managing customer relationships.
• Communicating with customers to collect necessary information and paperwork.
• Conducting preliminary reviews of loan applications to identify missing or incomplete information.
• Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Responding to customer inquiries and providing updates on loan status.
• Assisting with other tasks as needed to support the loan origination process.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field is a plus but not required).
• Must have a valid state license as a Mortgage Loan Officer.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in residential mortgage lending, with a proven track record of success in originating and closing loans.
• Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial concepts and tailor solutions to meet clients' needs.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients.
• Able to work with others in a team-oriented setting.
