Reporting to the Operations Manager, the 3D Production Artist (Generalist) is responsible for bringing creative concepts to life by developing realistic 3D assets, ensuring visual coherence across different project types and styles. We are looking for someone that can work across all aspects of a 3D pipeline, including modeling, texturing and lighting. This role often involves collaborating with other artists, designers, and departments to ensure the visual elements align with the overall brands look, tone and feel. ** Only candidates fluent in Cinema 4D (and any of it’s supporting software/plug-ins) will be considered ** This is NOT a motion design or animation position. We are looking for someone that is excited about creating beautiful, engaging, and stunning still images. Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Create detailed 3D wireframe models of packaging structures, products and props
Design and apply realistic textures and materials to 3D wireframe models to enhance visual appeal
Set up and adjust lighting to achieve the desired mood and atmosphere in scenes
Generate high-quality final images or sequences from 3D scenes using rendering software
Qualifications Include:
BS or BA in Visual Communications, 3D/CGI, gaming or similar degree preferred
Experience with GPU renderers (Octane) and render farms pipelines a plus
2-4 years of industry experience; studio or agency experience preferred
Experience working on consumer product company brands
Some knowledge of consumer product packaging design, production and printing
