Position Title: Associate Attorney (Admiralty/Maritime Law)
Location: Tampa, Florida
Position Overview: Banker Lopez Gassler P.A. has an opening for an Associate to join its General Trial Practice Group focusing on Admiralty/Maritime Law. Candidates will be licensed, and in good standing, in the state of Florida or planning on taking the Florida Bar.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:
· Manage a diverse caseload spanning maritime litigation, arbitration, and transactional matters.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing Admiralty Law, with a proven track record of success in complex litigation and transactional matters.
· Conduct legal research, and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage caseload and litigation staff;
· Perform appellate research;
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
· Stay updated on developments in Admiralty Law, regulatory changes, and industry trends to provide strategic counsel and maintain a competitive edge.
· Possess excellent research skills, specifically utilizing Westlaw;
· Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills;
· Licensed in the state of Florida;
· J.D. and scheduled to take the Florida Bar;
