Job Description:

The primary responsibilities of the position include:

* Teaching therapeutic interventions and patient care management related to acute care and post-acute care

* Maintaining a productive scholarly agenda.

* Providing academic advising to physical therapy students.

* Providing service as required by the university.

* Rank is commensurate with experience.

* Opportunity for clinical practice at the University of Toledo Medical Center is available.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Physical Therapy degree with an earned doctoral degree, i.e., DPT, PhD, DSc, EdD, or equivalent (Applicants who are ABD will be considered).

* A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.

* Applicants must have a current Ohio physical therapist license or be eligible for licensure.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Clinical practice experience in an inpatient setting, e.g., acute care, post-acute care.

* A minimum of 1 year of academic teaching experience in an entry-level physical therapy program.
