Overview :
Our client is a well-established manufacturer in Tualatin, Oregon. They will be hiring multiple Junior-level CNC Mill Operators to operate CNC (Computer Numerical Control machines) to fabricate parts.
These positions will report to the CNC Supervisor.
Shifts
Swing : Monday-Thursday 5PM - 3 : 30 AM
Weekend : Friday - Sunday 6AM - 6 : 30 PM
Responsibilities :
Load and unload parts for machining.
Operate assigned machines, make set-ups, compute machine speed and feeds.
Quality Control - use tools such as calipers and micrometers to inspect machined parts, and report defective materials to management.
Perform basic equipment maintenance such as worn or damaged cutting tools.
Read and interpret manufacturing prints.
Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety regulations.
Qualifications :
Experience with CNC Mill Machines, CNC Router Machines, or Grinding Machines
1 year of college coursework such as manufacturing technology or High School diploma / GED and 1 year of experience operating machinery
Must have firm grasp on basic machining fundamentals
Preferred :
Experience in a lean manufacturing environment
Mastercam / G&M code experience
Experience with vertical and / or horizontal mills. Swiss style screw machine experience a plus
