Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher. As a Special Education Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities. You will create and adapt instructional materials, assess student progress, and collaborate with other educators and support staff to ensure the success of students in your class.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching students with disabilities in a middle school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of special education laws and regulations
• Ability to create and implement effective instructional strategies
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with special needs
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
• State certification in Special Education
