Med Surg & MS/Tele Ratios: 1:5/6, occasional 1:7.This is a fast pace/high case load facility Experience Required: 2 years. First time travelers are accepted. Every other weekend required. Floating Required: Must be willing to float within specialty and between campuses (4.5 miles away). Certifications required: BCLS. Certifications Preferred: chemotherapy administration certification. Skills Required: Cardiac Monitoring, gastrointestinal experience, renal failure, IV, heparin/insulin/PCA, ortho experience, CVA, spinal cord and traumatic brain injury experience required, respiratory experience required. Must pass cardiac exam during orientation. EMR experience required though Meditech Expanse training is covered during orientation
