The candidate in this position will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and profitable operation of all branch The Branch Manager is responsible for the oversight and completion of all fiduciary responsibilities for the departments of service, repair, modernization, and construction. Duties include the direct supervision of the department managers; meeting profitability guidelines in each functional business lines; being proactive with the sales department in building the organization’s customer base; participating with the sales department on bid proposals for large projects; assisting in collections on problem accounts; and monitoring the branch’s current year’s budget and preparing yearly branch budgets.
Essential Job Functions
1. Assists the Regional President with setting monthly and yearly goals and quotas and ensures they are being met.
2. Performs quality control by meeting with staff, property managers and/or general contractors at sites and reviewing the work of Client Elevator’s work crews.
3. Ensures appropriate training is delivered to staff.
4. Approves monthly/quarterly/yearly incentives for employees.
5. Works with the team on all major project changes.
6. When necessary, assists with collections by contacting customers and discussing solutions to payment problems.
7. Research customers and their products.
8. Monitors new contracts for profitability and reviews status of existing contracts for profitability.
9. Compiles sales reports and reviews trends.
10. For larger projects, participates with department heads and/or sales staff in developing bid proposals and in negotiations of contracts.
11. Makes presentations to and entertains prospective clients and existing clients.
12. Calls or meets with upset customers when other staff is unable to problem solve situations.
13. Reviews and approves invoices, accounts receivables, write-offs, and credits.
14. Gathers budgetary information from department heads for use in determining next year’s budget.
15. Administers the sales incentive program.
