We are a private practice dermatology clinic that offers an amazing workplace culture. We are seeking a Medical Scribe / Medical Assistant that is the right fit for our practice. We require hard work, excellent communication, and a positive attitude. We can train you on the rest.

We are looking for a high energy, reliable, team member to accompany provider into the patient examination room to transcribe a history and physical exam. Must document accurately the provider’s encounter with the patient, and any others present. Medical Scribes must be discreet, tactful, and modest in performance of duties so as not to distract medical staff from patient care.

Requirements:

· Listen to complex medical information and summarize in a clear, complete, and concise fashion

· Responsible for the accuracy of the medical record

· Document all procedures performed by the provider

· List all diagnoses and symptoms, as well as all follow up instructions and prescriptions as dictated by the provider.

· Enter orders per provider specifications (laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.)

· Anticipate provider needs to facilitate the flow of clinic

· Assisting with biopsies and surgical procedures

· Chart preparation prior to appointment

· Room patients and obtain vitals per protocol

· General other clinical and administrative duties to assist with clinic flow, and clinical team coverage needs

** All CMA's must be Certified through the Washington Department of Health - This is separate from AAMA or other comparable certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
